Wedding shows and expos are part of the wedding planning experience. Some shows are small and some are extra large. All of the vendors you need for your wedding will be in one room - from venue to caterer to photographer and more. No matter the show, here are some tips to keep in mind if you are interested in attending a wedding show or expo in DC, Maryland or Virginia.
Know The Wedding Show & Expo Dates

If You Decide To Go...
Go to one show or go to a few shows. There is no limit to how many shows you go to. Remember, some shows are free and some have a ticket price or RSVP process.
What To Bring
Bring 1-2 friends with you that can help you explore all the options. Consider bringing printed stickers with your name, email & wedding date on them so you don't have to write it over and over. Cause you will be writing down those details for vendors at the shows...a lot!
If You Are New To This
If it is your first time, be open and go at your own pace. You are in the early stages of planning your wedding so there may be things you are not sure of yet. That is ok. Go to the shows for inspiration and to determine what you may or may not want for your wedding and to get an idea of vendors you may want to work with.

Wedding shows and expos are annual (for the most part), so you will have plenty of chances to go if you decide to have a wedding in 2023 or 2024 (or later).
